Design and construction of wastewater treatment plant Leskovac - Phase II, (Sludge treatment facilities for WWTP capacity 86.000EC)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design, construction, procurement and installation of equipment, testing and commissioning, trial work and proving the process parameters for the sludge treatment line generated in the wastewater treatment process at WWTP Leskovac, capacity 86,000 PE.

In the first phase of implementation, a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 86,000 PE on the water line and basic elements on the sludge line were built. Phase II of the implementation provides completion of the sludge line for the same capacity.

WORK DESCRIPTION

Within the realization of Phase II, the construction of the following processing units is envisaged:

  • Digestors for anaerobic sludge stabilization (two units) with all associated subsystems

  • Biogas storage tank with biogas purification filters

  • Subsequent (secondary) gravity thickener of digested sludge

  • Pump station for transporting thickened digested sludge for mechanical dewatering

  • Boiler plant

  • A biogas burning flare

  • Mechanical thickening of excess sludge and transport of thickened sludge

  • Liquid petroleum gas tanks

  • Gas generators for generating electricity from biogas (cogeneration units)

  • Electric block

  • Evaporation station

Pumping station for transporting a mixture of concentrated sludge to anaerobic digesters.
