Rehabilitation of drinking water treatment plant ’’Strand’’

PROJECT DESCRIPITON

The existing '' Strand '' facility is adjacent to the '' Strand '' source along the Danube River. The capacity of the plant is Q = 1500 l / s with two process lines, 750 l / s each.

The aim of the project is to rehabilitate an existing drinking water treatment plant in order to ensure water quality that complies with the current drinking water standard under Serbian law (regulations 42/98 and 44/99) and the applicable EC directive (98/83 / EC - Drinking Water Directive) for the quality of water for human consumption.

WORKS DESCRIPTION

-  Rehabilitation:

• aeration units (Q=1550 l/s);
• ozonisation - a new facility (Q=1550 l/s);
• filtering with GAU filters (2 filter units, 750 l / s each);
• chlorine disinfection;
• Tanks - a new facility (Q=10.000 m3);
• pumping stations;
• process control of existing electrical installations and measuring equipment;
